Harry Potter, Head Coach of the Appleby Arrows, is very content leading a quiet life. He has a doddery old house-elf who makes his breakfast, a team of players who love Quidditch almost as much as he does, and a Kneazle that curls against his damaged leg at the foot of his bed at night. The absolute last thing he needs is a fit, tattooed, and wildly talented Draco Malfoy back from living his life on the margins. Soon he’s dealing with goblins for the first time since the war, traveling to Prague, eating dodgy squid, and maybe, just maybe, accepting that Quidditch, Malfoy, and even Harry himself are still capable of change.
Fuck my life. Its been awhile since I was this hooked to a fic. And Im not just saying that this is really good (which it obviously is) but more like I was waiting and being anxious and just ready to jump at any time there was something happening.
Its not even that it took 1/4 of the fic before Draco was even mentioned. Its not even that I can understand Harry who cant fly anymore and how that is the shittiest thing ever to happen. Its not even finally being hooked on Quidditch. No.
Its the whole world in Quidditch, its how Pansy just changes everything and how much background there is to evrything. And in the sidelines all the feelings and two stubborn idiots. I just. I wish I could read this again without remembering any of it. Thats it. Thats what I want.
