A Hell of His Making [Star Trek, Kirk/Spock, NC-17]

A Hell of His Making by obsidienne
Chinese translate: 自造之业 by cindyfxx
To harm one's t'hy'la is an unforgivable offense.
I read the AU version of this fic but, have to say, I really liked this much better than the other version. The other kinda left a bad taste to me, even when the fic was not that bad. It was rather good, all things considered. You can read it here: Chess, and other Aphrodisiac.

There is also McCoy/Uhura pairing there somewhere in the side lines, but you can totally ignore it. And also Spock and Kirk being stupid again (like thats any news).

But mostly this is just how Kirk tries to come to living after dieing and Spock beating himself over the fight they had in the early days. Yup. Thats it. The whole fic. But amazing none the less. Especially when this is from Spock's point of view and it is not even OOC. Makes it all that much better.

Imperfect Bodies, Exquisite Minds [Sherlock, Sherlock/Mycroft, NC-17]

Imperfect Bodies, Exquisite Minds by taylorpotato
Sometimes Mycroft has a little brother. Other times, he has a little sister. He loves Sherlock unconditionally, but that doesn't always make things easy. Snapshots of Sherlock and Mycroft's life every three years from childhood up through canon.
Nothing is perfect. Or maybe everything is perfect just the way they are. Maybe. Anyways. Sherlock is far from happy with himself and his life. He hates stuff but at the same time he doesn't want to change it completly.

The other reason why I want to say something about this one is because Sherlock does not feel himself as a man or a woman. He is something between, sometimes woman sometimes man. He just feels the way he feels and life goes there somewhere.

Yes. Thats it.

I really liked Sherlock like that. I also liked Mycroft because he never made a big fuss about it. He tought about it and made his own conclusion but in the end he let Sherlock be Sherlock and was there for Sherlock. And that is the most important. To be with person and let them be. Let just everything float there in the background, it just does not have to make any sense to you.

Just let everybody be who they want to be. Not complicated. Not at all.

Fuck. Another fic from taylorpotao. Have probably find another author next, just for change and all that. But none the less, you have to go to make them happy with comments and with kudos.
Thank you. ♥

a sequence that you never learned [Star Trek, Kirk/Spock, NC-17]

a sequence that you never learned by annataylor
"'Spock,' Jim breathes out, completely overwhelmed by the gesture—not quite believing that Spock knows him so well, that's he's already started researching, that he trusts Jim with a member of his own endangered species."

When Jim gets it in his head to adopt an eight year old Vulcan, Spock presents a logical solution to the issue of Jim's humanity: marriage to a Vulcan citizen.
Jim and Spock. I had an idea what I want to say but I kinda forget it. Kinda. I still want to say something smart and good and tell you how good this was. Like how there was a plot and inside that plot there was another plot.

So basically Kirk adopts a vulcan kid and to do that he needs to have a vulcan citizenship. He gets married to Spock and they have to pretend to be the perfect married couple. Yea. And between all that there are kidnappings and more kids and figuring some shit out.

The reasons why Im blogging about this is because these two have an amazing chemistry and it is perfectly shown in this fic. Like perfect. They can be best friends and talk about almost everything but at the same time they ignore everything important. They are just perfect for each other. Nothing less, nothing more.

Also. Lets not forget the kid (whose name I can't remember right now, awesome). The kid was amazing, he was a kid and vulcan but there was a real character with flaws and own thoughts and everything. Just perfect little kid for Spock and Kirk.

And I don't even like kid fics, except this one it seems.

So worth it. So please. Read. Comment. Leave Kudos. Make the author feel loved.

A Love Like Religion [Teel Wolf, Sterek, NC-17]

A Love Like Religion by alisvolatpropiis
“Derek, my man, you missed an epic party on Saturday. Seriously, dude, I know morning Mass is like, your thing, but come on. You’re missing on out so much life has to offer, bro.”
Big hands land on shoulders with a thump and a squeeze while Derek stands at his locker, loading his gigantic calculus book into his backpack. He gives his best friend a practiced sidelong glare, which of course just encourages him. “You’ll change your mind when I tell you who sucked me off in Lydia Martin’s bedroom,” Stiles snickers into his ear.

Despite himself, Derek is curious. He tries to hide it by focusing on his books, but he knows the heat in his cheeks betrays him. “Who,” he asks, giving in, knowing he will eventually.
I have wanted to say something good about religion for awhile now. Like not just make them seem the best thing in the world but just something good in the fics, like not all the religious people are asshats kinda thing.

And this is probably all that. Well. There are couple of things I did not like in the religion part. The most of was about how Derek had this celibacy thing because of his believes or something. And if he broke that he couldn't become a priest. Yea. Or mostly thats the picture I got it from there. But that is not true. Guys dont even do the whole wait for marriage. Its more like girls thing. Seriously. Guys just do it because its the fair thing to do. And pretty often they don't do it. So.

But the fic. The fic was good. Like really good. Because Derek believed but he had the freedom to be who he wanted and do things he wanted. The religion was there for him and a way to remember his dad. It was not seomething that had control over his whole life. And Stiles was supportive and understood Derek's need to believe and how he wouldn't just abandon the religion.

And the whole thing where this made the religion actually look good for people. More like, this showed everything that the religion should be (minus the vow to wait to wedding night, just no) and how it should treat people. Like everything.

Just gotta give points from all that. Seriously. Just read it. Thats it.

Our Self-Destructive Symphony [Sherlock, Sherlock/Moriarty, NC-17, A/B/O]

Our Self-Destructive Symphony by taylorpotato
Sherlock has never wanted to settle down with a nice Alpha and have a family. He's not interested in pro-creation or domesticity. Alphas don't smell right. He wants nothing to do with them. But apparently he's very interested in fucking another Omega. A psychotic Omega, that also happens to be his arch nemesis.
To be honest. I have no idea when was the last time I read a fic from Sherlock fandom. No idea. But I had to watch the BBC Sherlock from the beging again (its just sooo good) and I had this impulse to read something from there now that Im back in the fandom. Still waiting the fourth season guys, you could hurry up a little, you know.

Different. No I can't use that word cuz there are so many sex fics that are only about fucking and some super kinky stuff, especially in the A/B/O universe. But there is actually a plot. Like a good plot about not liking society and falling in love with someone who you are probably not suppose to fall in love.

There are also a lot of stuff about society thats different from ours and how there are norms that could never work in our world. Well. It is A/B/O verse but still. A lot of stuff. Plus all those things I have kinda hate and love relationship in all those A/B/O fics.

Still. There is only like one thing I really, really did not like in this fic. And it was Sherlock. Sometimes he felt like Sherlock but most of the time he felt like every other stupid, ordinary person. Like he did not have the ability to really think about and see the big picture and small details. And there was even this one time he felt like some abused teenage girl who has a Stocholm Syndrome and is finally questioning that and then coming to conclusion that nah, its fine, Im fine, whatever.

Just no.

But besides that? The fic was good. Like really good. I finally liked some A/B/O fic without lots of violence and angst and stuff. Maybe it was not all sunshines and rainbow but I don't like fics that are. They are boring and unnatural. Everything just can not be perfect.

Plus a lot of mentioning Sherlock with other relationships, mostly just with John and Mycroft. Yea.

So read, comment and leave kudos. Make the author feel loved. ♥

The Trouble With Reclining Your Body in a Horizontal Position [TeenWolf, Sterek, nc-17]

The Trouble With Reclining Your Body in a Horizontal Position by apocryphal
Stiles doesn't lie to hurt other people. He lies to hurt himself.
Selfharm is bad. Like super bad. And so is harming other people.

This fic was nothing I thought it would be and maybe thats why it was so good to read this. Maybe not understand everything or stuff like that. But its good in a way thats a super bad and maybe there is something to learn form this.

Yea. And the paring thing ? Totally almost non existing. Yea.
