To harm one's t'hy'la is an unforgivable offense.I read the AU version of this fic but, have to say, I really liked this much better than the other version. The other kinda left a bad taste to me, even when the fic was not that bad. It was rather good, all things considered. You can read it here: Chess, and other Aphrodisiac.
There is also McCoy/Uhura pairing there somewhere in the side lines, but you can totally ignore it. And also Spock and Kirk being stupid again (like thats any news).
But mostly this is just how Kirk tries to come to living after dieing and Spock beating himself over the fight they had in the early days. Yup. Thats it. The whole fic. But amazing none the less. Especially when this is from Spock's point of view and it is not even OOC. Makes it all that much better.
