I had this idea about doing for every day in December to post a some kinda christmas fic. To be honest, I am way too lazy to find 24 christmas themed fics, so for the actual christmas day you get this awesome list full of Christmas magic. Hopefully I will do this again next year. But we will see what happens.

I have this plan to have a list of good christmas themed fics on the Christmas day. It is all done and ready, but I did not want to put this one on that list for lots of reasons.

One of those reasons is that I really liked this on so many levels. Not just because this is well written and there is so much thought behind everything. But also because these two were finally talking about things and putting stuff out there. They had conversation about stuff that are not easy to talk about and they showed how grown they were.

Then the whole Mary leaving John thingy and all how everyone had a past. Castiel's past was kind of super weird but it fits Castiel so well. No other way to say it. And the whole Winchester thing with them sticking together and being a family. I like that. I don't usually like fics where Mary is because of reasons (one of them is that I don't like the Mary in the tv show but there are others) but here I liked her.

Okay. There are stuff that I did not like. But those were few and did not play that big part in the grand scheme of things (how can Cas be a teacher when he has criminal past, isn't that something Americans have a lot of problems with? I don't know really). Because Sam had his PhD and that is just way too cool.

But christmas. It is time for family and this whole fic was all about that. So this needs special mentioning and kind of good start for my christmas special in this blog. So merry christmas and maybe don't spent the whole christmas reading fics. Spent some time with family and be happy.
