A Nights Musing [The Lord of the Ring, Legolas/Gimli, NC-17]

After Helm's Deep and Legolas finally excepts his feelings for a certain Dwarf.

First the whole Legolas/Gimli thing was so fucking disturbing to me that I dont even know what to say. But then I read that little sentenced or two somewhere. I think it was an actual part from the books (yea, havent read those cuz never really had enough patiense to read all that) where was this mention about how Legolas took Gimli with him to that other side of sea (or whatever) because they were so close and blahblah. That thing make me want to try the whole paring thing and I have to say, I kinda seriously like this one. Yea.

And this was the first I ever read through about those two. The story is almost all about how Legolas finds the ways to look Gimli as a handsome person. He has grown with elfs and cant see any other beauty than the sweet, nice harmony in bodies and those long, fine hair and crap like that. But then all the people who were trying to get into Gimlis pants opened his eyes how Gimli is beautiful his own way and that isnt elf kinda beautiful.

Maybe the most I liked how Legolas was in love from the begining with Gimli but couldnt think him as a beautiful from the outside. He only knew that attraction to Gimlis soul and thoughts and to crap like that. In the beging he couldnt even think that Gimli looked anyway beautiful or handsome. To Legolas Gimli was only this ugly person with lots of hair in every friggin place and nothing more.

So kinda the whole oneshot is a story how Legolas found a way too look things differently and look outside the box. Yea.

And to Gimli this was... I dont know what this was to Gimlis part. I just liked too much all Legolas thoughts and how he matured during this and found that even the elfs can be wrong and that they are too selfcentered. So maybe to Gimli this was a story how he found the love of his life from a elf and how he got over his hating for elfs. Yea. Maybe.

Then the whole storytelling in this one was so good and fluent and I just couldnt do anything but to fall in love with it too. Seriously I cant find any flaw in this one. So I just think I found a new paring that Im gonna ship the rest of my life. Ha. Yea.

The twins find themselves in a sexual rut, but only Bill can really see a problem. Then things get much worse.

Okey. Seriously. I have read this one like a thousand times already and I still feel like I wanna read this again. This is just so goood and Haylz is just so good writer and everything. God.

But anyway What They Do is a story about twins that have been together so long that the magic is almost gone already and everything is just a big old routine where sex is nonexcisting. There are lots of these small scenes where the twins have normal evenings together and how they think and do but wont do anything to make everything better. And almost every scene Bill wants to change things but things just doesnt turn like Bill imagined them to turn.

Then there comes big break and everything starts to go normal again and yea. The ending is good is all Im saying.

This is one of those fics that I would just love to crap million quotes out of the whole thing and only show you how really good fic this is. And its so hard to say in words and tell you everything Im thinkin because I dont even do know what Im thinkin by myself. Fuck this is hard.

Sad is one word to describe this one. Their whole break up so sad and it affects to everyone and somehow it makes everyone else feel sad too. I wanna say beautiful kinda sad but I dont know if you can say something like that. How even sad can be beautiful? Dunno but thats how I feel.

Then this is beautiful but I explained everything about that already so... this is also really sweet and charming. And only because twins are charming and sweet and nice guys and then this.. Yea.

Maybe I could also say this one feels so real, like this could totally be happening out there somewhere (maybe the persons arent twins or anything related but good friends or something like that) and these could be their thoughts. I can so believe in every word in this fic.

And the title. Seriously. It so fits in this one. Gosh. And I totally run out of the nice words and words in general. Gosh. I wanted this fic to have a huge awesome post in my blog and tell everyone how in love I am and how everyone should read this. But it looks I cant do that without sounding too much like a fangirl (well Im that so why destroy a true image, dunno). Read this and tell what you think and maybe this could have that big part of my blog. Yeaaaaah.

Appendicitis [Sherlock]

Pretty much what it says on the tin. Sherlock gets appendicitis, deals with it in a very Sherlockian way. I dont really get the rating system so I'm just going to say there's nothing particularly graphic in here, no bad language or anything really. Just the story.

Okey. First off all. There isnt any paring, there isnt any hots stuff and all in all there istn any those stuff that I like in a fanfic. Yea.

So in basically Sherlock is too stubborn to admit that he is in pain and John finds him on the floor and takes him to the hospital. There everybody is like trying to take care of Sherlock and shit like that. Ofc John is worrying and doing all he can do to take care of Sherlock. And Mycroft is doing his own part with putting Sherlock to best room that is in the whole hospital.

But why I liked this one? Seriously I dont know. I have no friggin idea why I even opened this one and read this through. Maybe it had something to do with how well written this is or maybe just because this is so different to all I have ever read. Like seriously. I cant even say another fic where there is just main character going to hospital and being taken care there and then getting home and the end.

And there happens nothing in this one. This was kinda pure character analysis. Like the writers only purpose was to try out how they all would act if (or when, whatever) Sherlock ended in hospital. And I have to admit that they have totally succeed in that. I so could picture all the scenes and how true they would be and how everybody just is like they are in this one. Like really. Ou god. So. good.

Now I am ofc saying that you have to go and read this and leave your own comment about the whole fic down here. But at least read this. I dont think Im ever again gonna ask you to read anything like this again. So read and do it just for the experience. Yea.

The Party and the After Party [Final Fantasy, Seph/Cloud, Zack/Cloud, NC-17]

 I dont really like Final Fantasy game. Its too much fighting and it always reminds me of those 90s games. So yea. Not for me. But what I really liked was that second movie and its graphics. Like seriously. It was anime but it was still much better and sometimes it felt like those were actual person and not computer made, ya know. The achievement was just so good that I couldnt really not to like it.

And now I'm totally lost from the actual fic. Well yea. Better late than never.

So anyways. Cloud is one lost puppy in a big party and then he just meets way too many high ranked army guys (and ofc he doesnt know that they are high ranked army guys). Then he ofc has sex with Zack and then gets lost again and drinks some more and ends sleeping the night at Sephirots place (but they dont do anything that night). And ofc this fic ends with some Seph/Zack talk about Cloud.

Yeaaa... So basically I really dont know what to say about this one (either). But I really, really liked this and how Cloud was so lost and meet everybody by accident. And everything just went so fluently and gosh.

Maybe this is a little bit too cliche Final Fantasy fic where Seph and Zack fight over our little sweet innocent Cloud without the final ending where Cloud chooces the other and the other one just cries after Cloud. So basically all shit has been left out and all the good stuff is still there. Yea.

So. Read and come tell your opinion about this one : D
