The world is trapped in an illusion which removes anger, hate, and death. It's paradise, giving everyone everything they've ever wanted and reviving anyone they've ever lost. Nearly two years into the illusion, Sasuke snaps back to his senses and must decide whether to keep the world in false bliss, or return it to war-torn reality.

Wow. I thought that the whole Naruto fandom was dead and that I couldnt find good Sasuke/Naruto fics anymore but fuck was I wrong because this was just awesome.

But the fic. Sasuke wakes up in a world where everything is perfect, everyone is happy and no one dies. Its the perfect world where Sasuke has Naruto and they are happy with their lives. But perfect doesn't mean anything without some flaws and it all just feels fake. So basically the whole fic is Sasuke enjoying the perfect world while trying to decide wether he wants to get out of there or not.

Still thats not the reason why I liked this so much. Maybe I should start with how everything comes so natural to Sasuke and how he still can't actually believe it. On the other hand he just sometimes forgets that its all just one huge illusion and it needs to be gone. And thats the bets part. How the whole fic is all about the middle ground and sometimes it just feels like Sasuke will stay in that world forever until the next second something else happens and Sasuke is back to remembering it all to be fake. Yea.

Also there probably was something about how this is well written and shit like that but I kinda hope you know that already. Hope so. Yup. But yea. This one kinda make me want to go back to read Naruto fanfiction and remind myself why I started to read these things (FYI the first fic I ever read was a Naruto fic, can't remember anything about the fic but that there was Sasuke. And that says a lot. Back then Naruto was a pretty new thing so Sasuke was pretty much in every single fic.)

So hopefully more Naruto fiction coming to this blog again. Yeb. And read and comment and leave kudos. Thanks. (and leave urls to your fav Naruto fics to the comments)

Building Jaegers is Tony Stark's wet dream come to life. He can drink, screw around, and avoid sleeping as much as he wants, so long as he keeps the Jaeger fleet running, and he never has to explain why he's borderline destroying himself.

When they meet, it's lust at first sight - for Tony. For Loki, it's hope and safety and friendship and everything else he can't let himself have.

First this was kinda weird because I kinda missed the whole crossover warning and all I could think was why the fuck Jaeger sounds so familiar even when its not from any Marvel's creations (or is it?). But at some point I got the whole light bulb feeling and it was good even after that.

So yea. Basically Tony builds the Jaegers and Loki was a pilot, or wasnt or what the fuck ever. But there is a lot of trauma on either side and blaming themselves and yea. Pretty much Tony blames how he fucked up the Jaeger's programming and Loki blames himself about how he couldn't let go and just sync with the machine.

And the point why I wanted to blog about this one. Okey. I forgot the exact reason but I still think the main reason has something to do with the fact that this didn't feel that much a crossover fic. I didn't even realise this was a crossover until at the ending or shit like that. And I think that is the reason why this is so good. The writer didn't have to force two worlds to collide, they just took the best part of the other and mixed that together with the other fandom and it worked.

Maybe I also wanted people to understand how good crossover fic is written by this example (fucking tired of readin shitty fics that somehow are happening in HP world and everyone just has something to do with the war and shit (there are good fics like that, they all arent that bad, just some of them)) and I like reading good crossovers. So yea people. Write good, awesome crossovers like that and the world is a better place.

Random Fandom Week 1 [One Direction, Larry]

I have rules in my head. Do not read fics about real people (yea, like I listen that one so much these days). Do not read anything too kinky (I actually listen this one most of the time because it destroys the whole thing in my head). Do not read Star Wars fanfiction (like never, ever kinda deal and I'm so sticking to this because Star Wars is holy and you do not sin it). And the rest of the rules are kinda minor but those are the lines I do not cross. But when I do, I decided that I need a tag for that and then I came up with Random Fandom Week where I use one week of my life just reading fics from one fandom. One fandom I have never read fics from before.

So. I have tried to read a couple One Direction fics before but not actually from the beginning to the end, more like "ou this sounds interesting and then it wasn't after all that good", so yea. And I have to admit (after spending this one week reading this stuff) that there isnt that many fics I like in this fandom. Probably most stuff that disturbs me in these fics are lack of knowledge in some things.

Like for example in one fic (can't remember the name, probably never even finished reading it) there was comment how one of the guys had played the Skyrim through. And lets just be clear about one thing, Skyrim is a never ending video game, you can't just play it through in four days or what the fuck ever, you just don't do that. And FYI there are video games besides FIFA, just ask google. And then there were some other stuff like that.

But if we ignore my nerd side and some other minor things that bugged me, the fics weren't all total shite (I kinda loved all the British words). So here goes the top 5 (+ 1) that I liked.

Please notice that I only spent one week reading One Direction fics so I didnt get that far with the paring/fandom and I kinda just took one of the most popular paring and went with the flow so yea. (some of these can also be one of the most popular fics there are but fuck it, I don't know anything about anything, so fuck it.)

Harry doesn’t think of himself as a womanizer, not at all. Sure, he enjoys sex, enjoys how women feel underneath him, and by some people’s standards he has sex with quite a lot of people, but that’s no reason to tell him that he can’t have a female PA anymore. 

It’s especially no excuse for giving him a male PA who’s possibly the most gorgeous boy in the world who won’t even let Harry look at him for too long. 

Sometimes Harry hates his life.

Oneshot and long as fuck. But one of the best fics I have read in a long time. This also felt so different than the others in this fandom so this really earns the first place in top five fics I have read in the 1D fic world. I probably should recommend this to you even if you are not that much into the fandom/paring/whatever. Yea. Maybe. But good none the less.

The One Direction PR management team decides that Harry needs to get married. Harry doesn't want to. Louis comes up with the perfect solution to the problem.

I have no idea about normal 1D Larry fics (seriously, I have only read like less than 20 of them so yea) but somehow there seems always in the end to be kids, like a lot of them. Maybe there is somewhere some kinda explanation but whatever. This just made me smile all the time and shit like that. (also there seems to be a lot fake boyfriend fics, what is up with that thing ?)

I don't know why I chose this to be one of the five fics even when this is good and I liked how everything was beautiful in a really painful way.

This was just so smooth and pirates makes everything just so much better. Okey. But seriously. This one was probably the first one where these two didn't end up happily together (there was hinting how they are gonna meet again and stuff but they didn't get together). And I wanted something different to my top 5 list anyways. He.

And we need some porn to end this One Direction thing. Yup. I actually had one other fic in my mind for the porn part of the list but that thing was long (like 50 000 words or something) and I didn't have the energy to finnish reading it. I also don't think its fair to you to promote a fic that I haven't read through so yea. We are gonna take this one. And there is also a plot which is a huge bonus.

And then the +1 that is some kinda trend in fic world right now or something like that.

Hmm.. We need one cliche, sad lovestory and shit. And this is that. Fills the part perfectly and yup. Thats it.

So yea. Now I have gotten this fandom out of my head and probably never gonna return (at least I don't see any reason to return) but feel free to leave to comments links to other good 1D fics. Yeaaa. You are welcome. Thanks.
