There are no words in the English language to describe what Draco has been through, nor is there anything worth talking about. Until that changes Draco is going to stay mute.
I almost gave up reading this in the beginning. I dont remember why and I am glad that I didnt.
This whole thing feels real. Like you really survive a war and this is how you end up. There is nothing to live for, everything is shit, you cant deal with the sadness or anything else and everything has fallen apart.
My favorite part was how others talked about Harry. How they saw Harry and how he was broken and how Draco in a way helped him. One other good thing was the comments about Harry's childhood and how he doesn't even comprehend how bad it really was. Like to him it was just normal day, but to everyone else it was the worst. Same goes with the line "they tried to beat the wizard out of him".
Draco being lost was also really well written. Everything moved forward, but he didn't. Things happened, but he didn't notice, care or wasn't even aware of them. Just because he was lost in his own head. The same goes about his recovery and how slow it was, even when it sometimes it felt fast and rushed. But it was slow and you could enjoy every little milestone that he took.
This whole thing just hit me so deep and got stuck. And I really don't even have to words to express that.
