This feels kind of bad to say, but I had forgotten how good 1D fics can be or they actually are. For some reason I have only come across the couple fics I really don't like when looking for something to read in 1D fandom. So finding this (and couple others) felt so weird. Idk.
You will cry, but you will love every word of this. Thats it. This is that good.
This is something that will arrange your insides a new way and make you question your whole life. This is not a good way to start a day because the rest of the day will suck with being so mediocore. Yea. I just can't get over how much I liked this. Thats the whole point.

The crowd was intense tonight. There was a push and pull that added to the thrumming feeling under his skin, only heightened by the small, stolen moments with Ilya. Every time Ilya would glance over, he’d find Shane’s eyes on him and his lips would tick up into a smile. Sometimes, when Ilya was at the other side of the stage, Shane would flick his eyes up to the screen next to them and look at the close up of Ilya’s curls sticking to his skin and the bead of sweat sliding down his neck.
Ilya Rozanov is the charismatic lead singer of Overtime Lights. Shane Hollander plays hockey and doesn't know anything about music. A night in New York leads to the reveal of their secret relationship.
I like being excited about things. I like it even more right now because it has been way too long since I have actually been this excited. The only problem is that, I dont actyally have a filter on whats good and whats not. I just like everything.
So is this good? Dont ask me. Im just in love with everything and loved every second of reading this. Have to read the sequel next and hopefully fall even more in love with all of this.

Tbh, I didnt really understand how no one noticed the ring. It is after all kind of huge thing. But at the same time, these are hockey players, men. And I am none of those thing and I know I wouldnt notice it. So that should explain everything. Maybe. Kinda. Hopefully.
Anyways. This is still one of the greatest things I have read in awhile. Yup.

For my defence, this is so cute and short and funny. Everything. Hayden is also life and best and whatnot. Probably gonna get lost in the whole Hayden thing at some point. Probably. Because why not.
But these two are cute and awesome and so in love. And this felt like it could be canon. Yup.

I didnt want to have high hopes for this one. I have read so many mediocore, shitty or just plain boring fics lately that I just didnt want to be disapointed.
But nope. This delivered and was soo good. I kinda just want to skip sleeping tonight and read all the sequels to this. But real life comes first and I really cant go and sabotage my whole life over a fanfic.
Still. Mickey is trying and trying and being so good for Ian. And Ian is just a little shit in love.

Ilya almost dropped his cigarette. His English was shitty, but he had studied that sentence enough times over the years to understand it immediately. He didn't even think about his words much anymore, but it was impossible to avoid them.
He turned instinctively, and was face to face with Shane fucking Hollander.
Out of almost seven billion people, of course Ilya's soulmate had to be his fated rival. It was almost poetic. Still, Ilya had enough sense to realize just how bad this was.
or, Shane says Ilya's soulmate words. Ilya vows to never speak a word to him to keep him from finding out. They fall in love anyway.
I don't usually read the authors comments in fics. Part of its because I really cant be arsed and part of me is just way too lazy. But thank god I did here. It gave me a whole new perspective on things and made me appreciate the fic even more (like it even needed that). It just made me think how it is really good to go outside your comfort zone and really try different things, they could really surprise you and everyone around you.
This surprised me and kept me hooked. At this point I can say I have read all the books and I am really up to date with everything. Kinda. Or maybe I am too deep. Pick your poison.
I liked how this followed the book but gave it its own twist. And then I just kept waiting for Ilya finally crack and say something to Shane. And maybe I spent a little bit too much time wondering why Shane doesn't question more why Ilya doesn't talk to him. And maybe the ending made me fall in love even more.
I kinda want to add something about how sad Ilyas life, childhood was here. But I don't really have the words to that. Lets just cry for him and let him enjoy the perfect life he will have with Shane.
So maybe the thing is that this feels perfect. Maybe. Something along the lines at least. And I am just sad that there are only limited amount of fics about them. But hopefully that will change and fast. There has been a raise in fics but we will see how it goes.

When Ian first sees them, he thinks they’re twins. They both have similar looks, with pale skin, dark hair, and blue eyes. They act similar too—both of them are quiet, they fidget in the same way, and they make some of the same facial expressions.
Ian wants to know them.
At this point it would be pretty damn nice to read something that doesnt make me cry. But Im still trying to find a fic where Mickey is some kind of crime lord and Ian is a lost puppy, so this can be kind of compromise until I find that.
Other than that, I really love their whole three way relationship. It just so good, freshing and makes so much sense. I would probably be super happy just to read a fic where they are the bestest friends forever without any real plot.
