The Moon wants to shine but the Sun is too bright [Mortal Instruments, Malec, Nc-17]

The Moon wants to shine but the Sun is too bright by Realitysucks
''I don't like it'', said Magnus.

Alec looked at him with perplexity.

"You don't like what ?''

''I don't like it when people are touching my things !'' he answered angrily.

Alec frowned, did someone touch Chairman Meow ? He didn't notice the possessive glare of Magnus focused on him.
Could people please stop writing these monster fics and actually try to write a book and get some money out of it? Like seriously. If you can write something good and long as this thing, you can totally write a book and get some money out of it. Okey. This needs some editing and some grammar mistakes and typos out of there but still. People should try that more often.

Anyways. This fic was a huge clusterfuck to the characters. How the life fucks them over and how they just somehow have to figure things out for themselves. This also shows how people can just survive when they really want to. Sometimes they just need a little push to do it. Okey. Here the push isn't so little or nice. It's pretty fucking hard and could almost kill.

But anyways. The plot.

Robert hates Alecs' gayness. Shit happens. Alec and Magnus fall in love. Some more shit happens. Alec meets the bottom of his life. Magnus is still there and they are still in love. Somewhere there shit is also happening. Then there is some growing and finding yourself. Maybe something to do with the shit that's happening in the background. Do I have to tell you what all that shit is or can I trust that you will waste a shit tonne of time out of your life actually reading this? For the record, it's totally worth it.

But the thing here is that the whole growing part. How Alec grows and how everyone else grows along the way because they have. They have to grow and not be so spoiled anymore. Maybe the story doesn't concentrate to anyone else maturing as much as Alec but Alec is getting some balls in here and he is actually understanding what life is all about.

And Magnus is pretty good boyfriend there too. At some point forward. So is Alec, from some point forward. But the beginning isn't as easy as you would think it to be. It doesn't feel so bad as it actually is and in the end, you will just understand how shit things actually were.

Maybe I have been vague enough here. Yup. Cuz I don't wanna spoil this or tell you all the plot twist beforehand. So please. Go and read this. Enjoy the monster and be happy. Yup. Thank you.

The Angel in Blue [Mortal Instruments, Malec, Nc-17]

The Angel in Blue by Hobbit69
Homicide detective, Alec Lightwood has seen and heard it all in his eight years with the NYPD. but he never expected billionaire playboy, Magnus Bane. Magnus is a suspect in a string of prostitute homicides and Alec must walk a fine line between procedure and the overwhelming desire he feels for his prime suspect.
I got a lot of Eve Dallas series vibes from this. Like a shit tonne of a lot. Like Alec could be Dallas and Magnus being Roarke. They were just like their counterparts. Seriously. Alec was such a cop who doesn't really care how he looks like and Magnus being this well dressed super rich billionaire. On top of that, Magnus being a suspect in Alec's murder case and that being the reason why they met.

Seriously. If you like this, consider reading the In Death book series by J.D. Robb. Try it. I dare you.

Back to the point. This was actually pretty well-written murder investigation that didn't spoil the murderer by accident. They even had a huge plot twist right near the ending when they were ready to catch the killer. Seriously. Just perfect. Maybe I should actually start to read crime novels more. Maybe.

On the other hand, I like how these two just work together. Maybe it was rushed, but they understood how rushed it was and still wanted to keep going and be together. And nothing happened without any set backs. Just good. The whole fic was pure gold.

I just can't anymore. No idea how I could keep saying how good this is and not just be fangirling all over it. Just yea. So please. Read, comment and leave kudos. Thank you.

(Also. I think I just realised how sexist the whole fangirling verb is. Seriously.)
