Ian has been estranged from his mother for the past eleven years, because after being burned by her time and time again, he could not do it anymore, he had to save himself. He's done well for himself -got in with a good marketing company for five of those years, and even moved out of South Side.
But not everything lasts... in one day, Ian loses his career and his year-long relationship... and then ten days later learns that Monica has taken her own life, leaving him with all her possessions. Now freed up from his responsibilities, Ian heads down to a small, isolated town to deal with Monica's fallout.

I have been trying to find more Gallavich fics where there is more violence and more angry, angsty, gangster Mickey. Insted I find this (and ton of other sappy fics). I am not complaining but still.
Yea. So expectations werent high but god damn this delivered everything. The house. Ian. Mickey. Yev. Everything. Just everything was just homey and good and perfect.
I liked the small town and how it was describled. The people and everyone knowing everyone. Just all the best vibes. And the attention to details with no signal and Yev missing the school bus and whatnot. Just. I liked everything about this one. Kinda wish I could leave like thousands kudos for this.
