This one just. Is different. And.
I like fics about mental health. Not to glorify things or trying to make fun of them or anything like that. More like. I like to understand, see (read?) different things, learn about different experiences and so on. And for some reason stories about mental healht is mostly stupid, underplayed stuff. Its just this is raw, unedited, painful and feels so god damn real that I have no words to express it all.
The whole part about Ian not moving, how he explains everything feeling and Mickey's reaction to it all. Its not just that they feel right for each other, but its also about how shitty it all is and they are just trying to survive to another day. They care about each other and understand each other. But then life is fucked up, brains are fucked up and everything else is fucked up in there too.
So basically. This oneshot is all that. Its all about not getting out of bed, not being able to even understand whats going on. But this is also about love and caring and being there for each other.
And I loved every single word of it.
