Southside Blues (Bang Bang, My Baby Shot Me Down) by merle_p
Debbie and Lip look at him. Then they look at each other. Then they look back at him.
"They said there was a lot of blood when the ambulance came," Lip finally says. "We didn't know what had happened. Figured we should stop by and see if you made it." He shrugs awkwardly. "How you were doing."
"Huh," Mickey says. He can hear what Lip is saying, and there is probably a world out there where his words make sense. Mickey is pretty certain that this is not that world.
There are sequels to this. This is kind of its own series. I just havent decided yet if I want to blog about each of them separately or not. So. We can start with this one and see where this goes, or doenst go. I can never know with myself.
I have started to like Mickey and Debbie's relationship. They dont like each other that much but they can work together and take care of each other. Its weird but it makes sense. It just goes with the fandom and all the vibes there are. The same goes here with Lip and Fiona dealing with Mickey.
Still I got stuck to how lost Mickey is. How alone he is in a big world. How everything just kind of sucks but he is just trying to survive to the next day. And sometimes not really even trying to survive, just somehow ending up being alive the next day.
Yea. This is rough and dark and everything I like.
This is also one of the saddest things I have read in awhile. Sad lovestory without any lovestory stuff in it. I just. This made me cry and rethink the whole life thing. And then I read the next part and got in deepere and deeper. The third one was also hard, but somehow just lighter and better. I just wish there would be a fourth and fifth part. But you can't always have everything you want.
