Um. Yea. I still don't like Teen Wolf that much but I wanted to read these fics. Like really try out these fics and shit. So yea. Here I am again. This week is deligated to Sterek paring. And thats it.
But maybe firstly I want to comment about why the fuck people keep writing fics about fake relationships. Like fucking seriously. There were tons of those in 1D fandom and now the same in Teen Wolf. And before these two I have like read zero fics based on fake relationships. Fucking seriously.
Is this some kinda trend or something? Please explain this to me. I would love to understand the thing about fake relationships and why it is so awesome plan to fake being together for family or for public image or for some alpha wolf conference. Yea. Please do that.
But back to the point. 5 +1 good fics from Teen Wolf fandom. And still goes the thing where I say I have no idea if these fics are the most popular ones or shit like that. I haven't read this fandom before (if you don't count two or three random oneshots) and I dont even know who the fuck half of the characters are (just watched the first eight episodes of the show altogether). So yea. 5 +1 fics. Thats it.

“Still don’t want to,” Stiles says.
“I’ll pay you,” Derek says, and that… that has Stiles interested. Alf’s Antique’s may be a great job, but it’s not a high-paying job, and half of Stiles’s tuition is coming from financial aid, so…
“How much,” Stiles asks, “are we talking here? Because I know your family, dude. And it’ll be kind of awkward after.“
“My family thinks you’re some sort of fucking gift to the world,” Derek seethes, like he’s jealous, “they’ll probably be pissed at me when we break it off, so don’t worry about that. Five hundred bucks.”
“A thousand,” Stiles says, because screw ethics. Also, the Hale family is loaded. Derek can deal.
The first fake boyfriend kinda fic. Yea... There is also magic and magic is always wicked cool. Like seriously. Especially floating objects and furniture and people. Just cool. So enough reasons to count this as one good fic.

In which Derek has been invited to the Greater Pacific Northwest Alpha Symposium (that's not what it's called, Stiles, stop saying that), and showing up unattached would mean an arranged marriage. When the rest of the pack objects, he agrees to let Stiles come along to pose as his mate. Derek is reasonably sure that he's not going to make it out of this weekend alive.
At this point the whole smell thing is getting kinda boring because fucking seriously. I have no words for that but it seems people just need to make Derek smell like Stiles and vice versa. Seriously. Wolf things are weird. Seriously. And their noses. Maybe I have to watch more Teen Wolf to understand this. But I really liked Stiles and his way too sarcastic personality. Stiles is probably my favorite at this point.

Stiles and Derek wake up married in Vegas. Well, they would have if it was legal.
In which Stiles is the president's son, Derek is his bodyguard, and Papa President orders them to pretend to be in love for the sake of gay rights.
Or in which uraniea and lupinus combine meeting the Hales, President Papa, waking up married, fake/pretend relationship, First Boy Stiles, and bodyguard Derek into one fic.
The lying thing? What. Seriously. Again the whole thing where I need to watch more of Teen Wolf. Or maybe I could just read the wikipedia page and be happy about it. Would that be enough? (or maybe read tons of fics and get some kinda shitty big picture out of this.) But I really liked the idea of Stiles' father being the president and how Stiles' life sucks because of that. I really liked that.

Being a responsible, good adult person who can actually take care of.. themselves is actually pretty overrated. Yea. Whatever this fic is actually about the one important part is being an actual responsible adult that is just not true and no one is that and yea. Bullshit your way through life. Like Stiles. Yup.
