Sometimes, Stiles whispers sweet nothings to his laptop and asks the gaming gods to bless him with quick fingers and an indestructible bladder. For gaming. Obviously.

What he didn’t ask for was a bitchy new guild-mate with a God complex and a famous next-door neighbor who plays footie and throws house parties every time Stiles is trying to sleep.

Or; The one where Stiles is a famous web denizen, and Derek is just plain famous.

First of all. Anyone else than British people writing British fics is weird as fuck. Not that they have some super big errors in culture or something like that. The problems come with the words and the smallest details. Like I wouldn’t go to Tesco to buy my cheap shitty clothes, I would rather go to Asda. It is not an apartment, it is flat. And things like that.

But if you ignore all that, this was pretty good. I liked Stiles, I liked how he was this super gamer and how it took over most of his life. The only problem with all that was his financial situation and how he could be living alone without never actually working? This just disturbed me. But maybe he had some kinda sponsorship with some rich dude who pays him to play? I don’t know.

I also really liked Derek, how he was this huge mystery but was the really good person inside. How he helped Isaac and was there for Isaac. And their whole awesome relationship. Okay. One good part was also how that relationship clashed with Stiles and what kind of impact Stiles had on them. I really liked that. The whole thought of it and how it worked.

Without forgetting how insecure Derek was about his feelings. How long it took these two to get together and the problems behind them. Fuck Kate, seriously, let's just destroy her and be happy about it. But her part in here was good without taking over the whole fic. She had a purpose and she did that and wasn’t overwhelming with her influence over everything. Yea. Kinda liked how Kate had been added here without really having to interact with her and the rest of the characters. Yup. Really good.

And cats are awesome, don’t let anyone say they are stupid or awful. Cats are Gods and that's it.

So please. Fucking read this. Ignore all those minor details and bath in the awesomeness that everything else in this fic is. Seriously. Also, leave a comment and make the author feel loved. That's it. Thank you!

“And this is it?” he points at the first girl. “I saw you in first period, you barely bothered to catch any of the balls you were tossed. I’m pretty sure you spent more time on your cell.”

The girl rolls her eyes, and looks completely unashamed of the fact she had her phone out in class. Derek knows Finstock would have stepped on it.

“And you,” he points at the second girl, taller and with eyes that meet Derek’s coolly. “You can’t throw anything worth half a damn. And what are you,” he points at the boy, trying not to look him in the eye, and failing. “A hundred and fifty pounds wet?”

The boy smirks at him, and Derek looks resolutely away. He’s now desperately trying not to picture him wet.

"I can't work with this."

Before this I had no idea what game dodge ball is (I still don't what it is called in my native language) and I had to google it ofc, but I used youtube and the first thing I got from there was One Direction playin dodge ball and lets just say Im traumatised for the rest of my life. Seriously. Just no. Probably have to leave internet for awhile.

But this fic has nothing to do with One Direction and really little to do actual dodge ball (besides the point that the dodge ball is kinda a huge part of the whole plot). This is more like the story about someone figthing with morals and want. And laws and jailbait and somewhere there is practising for some dodge ball game.

Normally I would probably rant about how I dont wanna read almost an 30 000 word fic that is basicaly only about Derek pining over Stiles and how Stiles is young and Dereks is teacher but fuck that. This is actually, really good even that is totally the whole plot. Like I'm not kidding. Thats it.

The thing is. It just doesn't get boring or feel like it is repeating itself. The plot just goes and Derek falls more in love every minute. Its kinda cute, probably. And I totally dig Jack. Awesome puppy he is.

What else? Yea. Someone could explain me what dodge ball is besides that it involves throwing balls and when you get hit you are out. And read this. Seriously. Read this. And leave kudos and comments, make the author feel loved. Thank you.

Some magic and some heartache and some missing heartache and some pining and sucky world.

I think I missed something at the beginning and it was just kinda blurry to me first but it really got better after a while. In the end it was really good and probably even awesome.

And I just found this entry from here and I have no memory of where that was going so yeaaa... Whatever. This was probably good if I was even thinking about blogging about it so. So yea. Read, Love, Comment and Kudos. Or something. I think.

There bruises on Derek's chest from where Stiles pushed Derek. Two purple-red impressions of the heel of Stiles' palms. Derek pokes them curiously. 

Derek's never had bruises before Stiles.

First Im going to complain how people don't use capital letters in their fic names anymore. Yes, I know you can use it sometimes to make a point or be different or whatever floats your boat. But this is getting rididcculous. It feels like no one use caps anymore anywhere. English is a language and to keep that language alive and keep people understanding whats the right way you are suppose to use the langauge correctly. So please. Use the caps.

But the fic itself was.. different. Fuck that.

I liked how someone actually took the whole mate thing and added something actually new to it. Like not just all that usual, cliche crap that you can read in almost any soulmate/mate fics. The bruising was new and exciting and I really, really liked it.

I also liked how it was not something that everyone just knew, how Derek had to work it out in his head before he was sure. How Erika and Boyd made sense and how Derek dealed with it (okey, he could always done better but we are talking about Derek). It just kept every character as their own and (as far as I can remember) no one was OOC. Just really good work with all that.

There were probably tons of other good stuff that I should mention but I want you to find them and just understand how I liked this and found this good and different. And totally worth of reading. Like seriously. Just read it.

Derek is a wolfish cyborg, brother of the Governor of California, heir to the Hale fortune. Stiles is a un-sequenced human in a world of designer DNA. When Derek is forced to choose a mate, no one expects him to choose Stiles. To be fair, Derek doesn't expect him to say no.

I really wanted to start this with how this is under appreciated fic that has gotten lost to the sea of too many shit fics. But to be honest Im not so sure about that after all. Because what is the line of fics not being appreciated enough? Do they need thousands of kudos and comments or is it that once they pass the 1000 mark they are popular ?

Fuck if I know. All I know that this one had (at the moment Im writing this, could change to the moment I post this) 1341 kudos and 212 comments. But to 14 chapter fic I feel like there could be more comments (about kudos I don't know).

And somehow that makes this kinda underappreciated fic in my head (it could also help that Im 94th page of Sterek fiction). But the fic itself.

I feel like this is one of those alpha/beta/omega fics but with normal humans in the mix too. Okey. There are LP and some other different versions of moderated homo sapiences. But it still kinda feels like abo universe. And a tip for the reader, read the explanations to the LP and such. It will help (I didnt read those and kinda missed something in the plot).

Still. I liked how that DNA moderating affected to people's views about others. Some were supernatural compareted to others but there were down sides and some stuff that didn't sound so good in the big picture. It just made it all better. Nothing was perfect even when they actually tried to make it so perfect. Perfect didnt excist.

The stuff I didnt like was the feeling how it felt sometimes like Stiles was using Derek for his own end. But still I kinda liked how that using part made it okey to Stiles to say yes to Derek. Maybe Stiles was lying to himself at some point but still.

There were just so many different sides to everything and some of them I liked and some of them I didnt. Yeaaa. Also the reason why this was just so good.

Random Fandom Week 2 [Teen Wolf, Sterek]

Um. Yea. I still don't like Teen Wolf that much but I wanted to read these fics. Like really try out these fics and shit. So yea. Here I am again. This week is deligated to Sterek paring. And thats it.

But maybe firstly I want to comment about why the fuck people keep writing fics about fake relationships. Like fucking seriously. There were tons of those in 1D fandom and now the same in Teen Wolf. And before these two I have like read zero fics based on fake relationships. Fucking seriously.

Is this some kinda trend or something? Please explain this to me. I would love to understand the thing about fake relationships and why it is so awesome plan to fake being together for family or for public image or for some alpha wolf conference. Yea. Please do that.

But back to the point. 5 +1 good fics from Teen Wolf fandom. And still goes the thing where I say I have no idea if these fics are the most popular ones or shit like that. I haven't read this fandom before (if you don't count two or three random oneshots) and I dont even know who the fuck half of the characters are (just watched the first eight episodes of the show altogether). So yea. 5 +1 fics. Thats it.

“Three weeks,” Derek says. 

“Still don’t want to,” Stiles says. 

“I’ll pay you,” Derek says, and that… that has Stiles interested. Alf’s Antique’s may be a great job, but it’s not a high-paying job, and half of Stiles’s tuition is coming from financial aid, so… 

“How much,” Stiles asks, “are we talking here? Because I know your family, dude. And it’ll be kind of awkward after.“ 

“My family thinks you’re some sort of fucking gift to the world,” Derek seethes, like he’s jealous, “they’ll probably be pissed at me when we break it off, so don’t worry about that. Five hundred bucks.” 

“A thousand,” Stiles says, because screw ethics. Also, the Hale family is loaded. Derek can deal.

The first fake boyfriend kinda fic. Yea... There is also magic and magic is always wicked cool. Like seriously. Especially floating objects and furniture and people. Just cool. So enough reasons to count this as one good fic.

Electricity In the Contact by ladyblahblah

In which Derek has been invited to the Greater Pacific Northwest Alpha Symposium (that's not what it's called, Stiles, stop saying that), and showing up unattached would mean an arranged marriage. When the rest of the pack objects, he agrees to let Stiles come along to pose as his mate. Derek is reasonably sure that he's not going to make it out of this weekend alive.

At this point the whole smell thing is getting kinda boring because fucking seriously. I have no words for that but it seems people just need to make Derek smell like Stiles and vice versa. Seriously. Wolf things are weird. Seriously. And their noses. Maybe I have to watch more Teen Wolf to understand this. But I really liked Stiles and his way too sarcastic personality. Stiles is probably my favorite at this point.

A Strong Heart and a Nerve of Steel by lupinus & uraneia

Stiles and Derek wake up married in Vegas. Well, they would have if it was legal. 

In which Stiles is the president's son, Derek is his bodyguard, and Papa President orders them to pretend to be in love for the sake of gay rights. 

Or in which uraniea and lupinus combine meeting the Hales, President Papa, waking up married, fake/pretend relationship, First Boy Stiles, and bodyguard Derek into one fic.

The lying thing? What. Seriously. Again the whole thing where I need to watch more of Teen Wolf. Or maybe I could just read the wikipedia page and be happy about it. Would that be enough? (or maybe read tons of fics and get some kinda shitty big picture out of this.) But I really liked the idea of Stiles' father being the president and how Stiles' life sucks because of that. I really liked that.

My Heart Comes Tumbling Down by DevilDoll

"This is a casual, adult relationship based on sex, and it is awesome." In which Stiles and Derek have a great time buddyfucking until a burrito ruins it all.

Being a responsible, good adult person who can actually take care of.. themselves is actually pretty overrated. Yea. Whatever this fic is actually about the one important part is being an actual responsible adult that is just not true and no one is that and yea. Bullshit your way through life. Like Stiles. Yup.

In which Derek and Stiles are college roommates, and everyone saw this coming before they did. 

“How do you even get up there?” Scott asks skeptically. Loft beds are tricky enough on their own, he doesn’t know what possessed Derek and Stiles to push theirs together. Why would anybody try to create a king-sized loft bed in a teensy tiny dorm room?

Yeah. Like I could avoid posting something that has 5 + 1 in my whole list thing. Seriously. But the point was that I dont even know and that got to be good enough for you. So whatever. Its good and thats it.

And for the +1 part of this list we need something cute and weird and different. Yup. So napping it is.

And probably this is the point where I admit that I got addicted to Sterek and Teen Wolf fictions (even if its pain in the fucking arse to find something gooood in there).
