When Stiles has an unexpected encounter - and the best (only) sex of his life - with a supernatural mob boss, he knows immediately that it was a mistake. Peter Hale is a complication Stiles doesn't need in his life, no matter how compelling the alpha werewolf is. Then Stiles' little brother goes missing and the only person he can turn to for help is Peter. 

To Stiles' relief, Peter offers his assistance...but it doesn't come cheap. Desperate to save his brother, Stiles agrees, never dreaming just how steep the price would turn out to be. 

When Stiles finds himself being pulled deeper and deeper into Peter's world - a world full of dangerous supernatural creatures, passionate sex, and deadly intrigue - he will be forced to choose between the future he expected to have...and the man who might just be the love of his life.

I should learn to read the tags. I really should. I probably would never have opened this fic, if I had read all those tags. Because at some point, I had to double-check if this was mpreg fic (the vibes were there), and I was correct. But at that point, it was too late, and I was hooked. 

This had a lot of foreshadowing. Some of it I liked, some of it felt pointless. And some sideplots that I just guessed. Yeah. 

Anyways. I thought this was going to be dark. Like really dark. But this was more about feelings and smut and fluff. It tries to be dark, it tries to give you this whole "our world is dangerous and mysterious", but mostly it just stays on side comments and doesn't really affect like 90% of the fic. It really tries that, but in the end, everyone is just friends and nice to each other. Okay. Some parts are not good or nice, but the general feeling, you know?

Right now, I am not even sure why I finished this fic. Probably stubbornness and the need to know how it all would end. Also, the curiosity about how everything would connect in the end. 

 

Still. Maybe go and try this. You could actually like this. Yea.

Deucalion was sitting in the corner that was reserved for special guests, with his henchmen - a pair of twins - guarding the table. He was just putting his stetson down, eyes catching Peter and widening just a fraction when he noticed Stiles. He was a good guy though, and quickly got his pokerface back in place. Nobody came to the Moonshine and insulted Peter.

“Deucalion, nice to see you,” he greeted, not acknowledging the goons who were giving Stiles the side eye. He knew they probably wanted a piece of his kitten, but thankfully were not foolish enough to try.

Give me more stuff like this. Seriously. That's all I am asking. Just leave them down to the comments section and I will check out every single one of them.

I want more super weird powerplay where you don't even know half that's going on until the end. Maybe I just want dangerous powerplay, where the rules are something that they are figuring along the way. And I don't mind some dead people on the way.

To be honest. I just want some wicked stories where you have no idea what could come next. Yup.

Most people wouldn't assume Peter likes baseball. There are a lot of stereotypes that come with being a bisexual man in fashion, and one of them is that he must hate sports and typical 'manly' things. Such blind assumptions and gender roles are, of course, ridiculous, but he's not above using them to sneak off when his PR team gets a little too gung ho on his speaking events.

He's wanted at various fashion schools and charity events, and he has the Project Runway team pestering him to guest judge again, as if he doesn't have his hands full with running Hale Fashion. It's taken years of hard work and maybe a little bit of blackmail, but he's the head of his own company, and he thinks he deserves an afternoon off.

Or

Peter, rich and famous fashion mogul, accidentally spills his beer on Stiles at a baseball game. Stiles has no clue who he is. That makes their first date so much better.

Finally a fic without unnecessary drama. Seriously. Thats all I got from this one. Okay. In the end there was a little bit of drama, but it small and they talked about it like adults and did all the right steps about it. Okay. It took them a while to talk about it but they did.

And biting someone on the arm, particularly the wrist, turns someone as your equal. It’s a mating ritual.”

Stiles nearly chokes on a mouthful of granola. “A what?”

So. This happened. Steter is something I should say something about it. The thing is that I have no reason why I started to read Steter fics recently. I just opened one and thought why the fuck no. And to be honest, somehow this makes a little bit sense. They are both geniuses in their own way, they both have a little bit fucked up world view and they are a little bit out of the main group.

Maybe I got addicted to them being assholes together. Maybe.

Okay. The biggest problem with this pairing comes with the whole age difference, especially in this one. All other problems follow that plus Peter being a villain at some level. Or maybe he is just a misunderstood character.

But what I liked about this one is that Stiles is pushed outside of their little group. Allison is dead and he is not really dealing with it. So he ends up at Peter's place and, for some reason, Peter decides to help him. He is a little bit asshole about it but it helps and Stiles is okay with it. This is the part that I didn't understand, why is Stiles so easily okay with Peter's way of helping him. But that's just details

I also really liked how Stiles got addicted to how he feels at Peter's place. And how they actually talked about stuff (while being assholes but details). They are helping each other and somehow it just makes so much sense. Okay. Others aren't so okay with it but what would you expect? Nothing else, I think. But this pairing is not supposed to be all rainbows and sunshine, which just makes it so much better.

So yea. I got addicted to something I am probably not so proud of. But that is nothing new. And I will continue reading Steter fics.

Asexual Month 2.0 [Teen Wolf, Sherlock, Supernatural]

I had to do the whole month with only fics about asexual people again. I just had to. There are not so many of these fics and that's really sad. So I at least tried to find as many fics as possible for this month. Which is why I am again finishing this month with a list of good fics.
