Time Bomb [One Direction, Larry, Ziam, Nc-17]

Time Bomb by ThisSentimentalHeart
“Why exactly are you here?” Louis asked, feigning annoyance and failing pathetically at it.
“My publicist told me I can't go anywhere near you.” Harry said, eyes still smudged with last night's eye liner. “That makes you my favorite person in the world.”

Or the one where Louis has everything: a lead role in a giant Hollywood franchise, a glittering new house with an entertaining Irish neighbor, and a steady, normal boyfriend who he probably loves. Louis never expected to become a household name among young Hollywood overnight. He also never expected to find something endearing about the enigmatic rockstar who keeps showing up on his back porch.
First of all. This contains drug abuse. Mental abuse. Violence? PTSD. Mental illness? Partying that has gotten out of hand. But mostly this is just about life that is public to everyone and all the downsides with it. There are also awesome good sides but, if you think the whole package, the downside is much heavier and bigger. Yup.

So basically I am only blogging about this because the problems they have through this fic. First of all the abuse Louis is going through, then the accident and Harry's out of control partying. A little bit more partying and making a movie plus all that travelling, that travelling is actually pretty crazy but yea. It's a good part of this story.

Anyways. This is not painting a pretty picture of the life of famous people. This has all the shit that they have to hide from the general public and then all the shit they have to deal with that comes from other people. On top of that, they have to deal with the whole scene they are living in. The partying scene where there are drugs and people are overdosing and dying. Nothing is as pretty as it may seem like.

For example, the drug scene is not about a little bit pot here and there. It's not just E for boosting the energy levels. It's more like lets do coke tonight and then tomorrow we have something else. Maybe the fic is not 100% accurate with everything drug stuff (like the whole heroin thing, heroin is not a party drug, it's a hardcore fucking drug that will fuck you up the minute you take it so badly you will pretty much pass out and/or puke your guts out, it won't boost your energy or make you more into partying, it will fucking destroy you. That's a fact, google the shit out of it or read the Heroin Diary by Nikki Sixx or talk to someone who knows drugs. But it's not a party drug.) Even the time zones kinda were messed up sometimes and sometimes they were accurate. But that's just small details that bugged me.

Besides all that I really liked how this painted that picture. How it did not sugarcoat any of that partying shit or the abuse. How people were people. Everyone was just a normal person whose life was just a little more public and they were in the public eye. But they also had the ability to change other people's lives and make a change to things, even if they were small compared to the whole world but that was something they did. Yup.

This is also way too long and I have spent two days reading this even when I actually had to do stuff. And I also started to read this because I first read that there were only about 29 000 words but the reality was about ten times more than that.. Yea. I'm concentrating. But still so fucking worth it, even when I am not being that forthcoming with the whole plot. This just has so much stuff going on and when you think that now this is it, this is how it's going to end, a new thing comes to light and you realise that yeah, those things have not been dealt with. Yup. This is also fairly addictive.

So just read it and think about the whole story and the bigger picture. Think about the world and how things are going. Not just how this some fic full of drama and unexpected plot twists. This is just so much more. And I really, really want to give credits about how this was buildt and how it all just made so much sense in the end. Everything was just well written and thought. Yea. Thank you.
